Happy Slow Cooker Soup Sunday!! Tonight’s soup is Pizza Soup! It’s hearty, warming and a perfect comfort soup for those cold winter days!! The flavors are those found on pizza and seriously tastes like pizza rolled up into a soup! The dumplings are like the pizza crust and always requested by my daughter — it’s so good!
Let’s get started!
Time to start the soup! I love this pizza soup because you really can add whatever you like to it! You can add mushrooms, olives, an assortment of meat and any of your favorite veggies! It’s versatile.

To the slow cooker, add chopped onion, celery, carrot and bell pepper.

Add pepperoni and ham or your favorite meat.

Add potatoes and water.

Add pasta. I’m using tiny shells!

Add seasonings.

Add pasta sauce. I’m using homemade.

Add broth. I’m using homemade vegetable garlic broth.

Stir well. Place lid on. Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 5 hours.

Here is the soup after 3 hours. Stir. Place lid on and continue to cook.

Yum!

You can serve this soup as, with your favorite toppings!

My daughter decided she wanted dumplings, so I added them and let it cook on high for one hour.
Mix flour, salt, sugar and baking powder together. Cut in butter. Add spices and shredded cheese. Add enough milk to make a loose dough. Drop spoonfuls onto soup, cover and let cook.
