It’s Day 3 of the 5 Days of Homemade Christmas Gifts. Today’s gift is Homemade Irish Cream.
I am using a nice smooth Irish whiskey which makes this Irish cream lovely to drink without being overpowering or strong like I find most Irish Cream can be. It also has a nice coffee flavor and hint of chocolate. It’s creamy and delicious served over ice or as a brown cow.
Pour into a nice bottle or jar, wrap with jute or ribbon and attach a label. This really does make a lovely gift.
Let’s get started!
Combine whiskey, cream (we are using half & half), cocoa powder, instant coffee, vanilla and condensed milk. Whisk well, until coffee and cocoa is all incorporated.

Pour into a jar or bottle. Wrap jute or ribbon around and attach label. They’re so nice! I’m definitely happy to gift this!

To serve: pour Irish Cream over ice or as a brown cow – I like adding milk and a splash of cream to half a glass of Irish Cream.
