This week’s Slow Cooker Sunday meal is a simple meal — an easy and quick Chicken Parmesan. It’s a family favorite!
I used to always bread the chicken and fry it and then put the pasta sauce and cheese on and cook it in the oven, and yes, it tastes amazing, but I honestly do not miss those extra steps and we enjoy Chicken Parmesan this way much more. It is simple to prepare in the slow cooker, has only a couple steps and after a busy day, a delicious meal is waiting.
Let’s get started!
Place chicken in slow cooker with onion and seasonings. I am using our parsley and greek basil from our garden. I’m also using oregano, salt and pepper.

We are using the pasta sauce from last week. I froze it in two separate containers so I could get this meal and one more meal from it.
Spread about 2 to 3 tablespoons of sauce over each piece of chicken.
Place lid on and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 6 hours.

In last hour of cooking, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese then place a piece of cheese over top and another spoon of sauce. Cover and finish cooking.

Here is the chicken. It smells amazing!

Serve chicken over pasta with additional pasta sauce.

It’s so yummy! I could eat this every week!
