This Chocolate Chunk Brownie Mix makes the most yummy ooey gooey fudgy brownies and the chocolate chunks make it even better!! If you love chocolate, you’ll love these brownies!
Each Christmas, I give my daughters a mix-in-a-jar of something delicious! It has become a holiday tradition that my girls love. I give them each a completely different recipe, so if they combine or compare recipes they’re all different plus they have more variety!
Let’s get to it!
Combine flour, salt and baking powder. Scoop into a 1L/quart size jar. Layer over top of flour the cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar and chocolate chunks.

Look at those beautiful layers!

Place a seal on, then cover with festive fabric. I cut the fabric 8” x 9-1/2”. Place a ring on and carefully twist it closed. Some fabric can be thicker than others so it’s a bit more tricky to get the ring on.

Attach a ribbon and a label of what the mix is if you like. You can also attach the recipe card with ribbon. I used jute this time, cut at 40” and I wrapped the jute around a few times and tied a knot and attached the label.

I always write the recipe out by hand so it’s more personal. I also date it on the back and give the directions should they choose to make the recipe again or make the mix to gift!
Sometimes I use holiday recipe cards or decorate plain recipes cards and sometimes I leave it more plain. I try to change it up a bit each year!
