It’s Day 10 of the 12 Days of Cookies! It’s hard to believe we are nearly done! Today’s cookie is a rich, fudgy cookie perfect for any chocolate lover!!
These Chocolate Crackle Cookies are soft and brownie-like. You can bake them all at once, or freeze them to bake fresh later! These are delectable!
Let’s get started!
Combine cocoa, both sugars and melted butter or oil.

Stir. Best in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla.

Add 1 cup flour with baking powder and salt.

Stir. Add remaining flour slowly until dough forms.

Refrigerate 30 minutes. This dough is very sticky! We refrigerated for over an hour, and it was still quite sticky!

Use a cookie scoop and scoop dough. We used a teaspoon because too much dough was sticking inside the scoop. Roll dough in icing sugar.

Place on cookie sheet, about 2” apart.

Bake at 350F for 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool slightly before removing to a cooling rack. If icing sugar has disappeared from baked cookie, roll in icing sugar again when hot out the oven — we didn’t have to!

These are so fudgy!
